In the Premier Section Kevin Baker became the first player to hit 200 dolls this season after he hit a dozen dolls (4-4-4) to give him a total of 202 for The Gladiators ‘A’ in their 2-1 home win against Rose Hill Club ‘B’. The leaders of Premier Section White House and Section 1 Red Lion B Cassington clashed and it was the Lion who came out on top 2-1. White House could only set a paltry 21 in the opening leg which Lion hit 23 in reply to take an early lead. White House set the second leg and hit a season best 33 which was more than enough for them to level as the Lion hit 25 in return. Final and deciding leg White House standards fell again as they could only set a score of 21, in return carrying a four-doll handicap Lion roared past that with 30. Roger Goodall (5-5-4) and Rob Bradford (3-5-6) were in tremendous form, both hitting 14 dolls.

It started off well for The Cricketers when they won the first leg 21-16. Masons set 15 in the next leg which proved to be just enough as the Cricketers came up one short with 14. Masons then completed the turnaround in the final leg setting and winning it 18-14. Cricketers woes continue as this was their fourth consecutive loss after winning their first 12 games of the season. The only bright spot was leading doll scorer Doug Mingham hitting 10 dolls.
The second part of the season is bringing much more success for Six Bells B after they beat George B 3-0. Losing 8 of their first 9 games of the season they are now on a three-match unbeaten run winning all three legs 18-15, 15-9, 15-14.

The Swan levelled in the next leg 17-15 and then set 13 in the final leg. A five from lead off man Dave Rudman gave the Rugby club a good start and 3 dolls from anchor man David Lammin saw them over the line by the smallest of margins with 14.
Kidlington FC ‘A’ still languish at the foot of the table after their ninth loss on the bounce this time at home to Cowley Workers who won the first two legs 12-9, 12-9. Kidlington rallied in the last leg to grab a point 13-10.
