Glad’s completed the rout in the final leg 30-17.
Red Lion ‘B’ Cassington lead Section One after they came away from New Club with all three points. They won the first two legs 23-20, 25-17 and had to rely on a three stick shoot out in the final leg after it was tied 19-19.

Seacourt Bridge scored more dolls then their visitors Chequers A but still lost the game 2-1 in a close hard fought game. Chequers set and won the opening leg by the smallest of margins 13-12. Donnington Club ‘A’ came away from The Masons ‘A’ with a 2-1 win in the leg scores of 14-17, 20-16, 19-18.

SECTION 3
It was a case of top versus bottom when leaders Donnington Club ‘D’ visited Yarnton British Legion and they almost pulled off a shock but just fell short at the last hurdle. With the game nicely poised at 1-1 Donnington set 18 in the final leg and a poor start in reply by the Legion cost them dear as they fell just one doll short with 17. Dave Simms was in superb form hitting 14 dolls (3-5-6) for the leaders.
Kidlington FC ‘B’ title hopes took a hammering after they lost unexpectedly 2-1 at home to The Tandem. The damage was all done in the first two legs Tandem winning them both 18-13, 19-19 (on three sticks). Kidlington salvaged a point in the final leg 21-16.

Workers won the opening leg 16-14. Second leg was tied 16-16 with the Cricketers taking it on three sticks to level the game. A set of 11 in the final leg by the Workers was never going to be enough as Cricketers passed that with ease hitting 15 in reply.

Headington Con clubs hopes of narrowing the gap are fading after they dropped a point at The Original Swan. They easily won the opening leg 18-5 however a set of 13 in the next leg by The Swan proved too much for the Con club who could only hit 10 in reply and their cause was not helped by three blobs in the leg. The club men scrapped by in the final leg 13-12. Chris Cox top scored for Con club with 10 dolls (3-5-3-2).
Red Lion A Cassington and Golden Ball fought out a close well contested game which the Lion won 3-0. However the scores were much closer than the result suggests. Chasing a set of 8 in the first leg Copelin hit the two dolls needed to win the leg with 9. Next leg chasing a total of 8 again, he hit three dolls to level the leg and the winning doll in the three leg shoot out.
