Even though The Masons Arms beat The Chandos Arms A 3-0 in Section 6 it was closer then the result suggests. Masons won the opening leg 13-11 but the second leg was tied 14-14. Three sticks could not separate them nor could one stick, so back to six sticks which Masons won. They then went on to take all three points in the last leg 15-13.

In Section 9 The Crown Chalgrove scored more dolls then their opponents Northway Club B but still ended up losing. Northway won the opening leg 14-8, and the second on three sticks after it was tied 12-12.
