The Cricketer’s Kevin Baker was in cracking form as he hit 16 dolls 4-6-6 in their 3-0 win at home to The Vikings. Cricketers were in control in all three legs winning them 27-21, 35-21, 33-22. Ivor Clarke also hit a six in his 13 dolls 2-6-5 and Den Sellar chipped in with 14 dolls 5-4-5.
Les Disley from The George also hit 16 dolls 5-5-6 to lead them to a 3-0 win at The Black Swan. Team mate Dennis Butler hit 13 dolls 4-4-5 as they won all three legs 34-23, 27-23, 33-20.
Adrian Shepherd and Russell Simmonds both clanged off a six in their dozen dolls for The New Club in their 2-1 win at Kidlington Sports Club. New Club lost the first leg 17-25 but came back well to take the next two 22-19, 29-22.

Only two dolls separated Cricketers Littleworth and The Gladiators in Section 2 but it was The glad’s who came away victorious 3-0. The opening leg was tied 16-16, the second Glad’s won 19-18 and they won the final leg 21-19. Martin Cook was top scorer with 11 dolls 2-6-3.
Turners Arms John Weller whipped off 15 dolls 5-4-6 to set them up for maximum points at The George ‘B’. Neil Ireson contributed with a dozen dolls 2-3-6 in the leg scores of 22-16, 23-20, 28-19.
Masons Arms got off to a good start in Section 4 against The Crown winning the first leg 25-15. Crown levelled the second leg 19-16 and then won the final leg on three sticks after tying the leg 18-18. John Hudson threw well for The Crown with 13 dolls 5-3-5.
Craig Greenough top scored with twelve dolls 3-6-3 to inspire The Nelson ‘A’ to a 2-1 home win against Northway Club in Section 6. They won the first and last legs 22-16, 14-14 with Northway winning the middle leg 18-16.

The Crown ‘B’ just got the better over The Red Cow in Section 7 coming from behind to win 2-1. They lost the opening leg 9-13 won the second leg on three sticks after tying 15-15 and won the final and deciding leg 16-14. Rob Bustin was top dog with 11 dolls 3-4-4.

Some consistent throwing from The Jolly Postboys enabled them to come away from The Blackbird with maximum points in Section 9. They won all three legs 18-12, 17-13, 17-12 but Blackbirds Terry Buckle top scored with 10 dolls.
Good throwing of the anchor by Martyn Boulton saw the Folly Bridge beat Littelmore Rugby Club 2-1. Boulton hit 13 dolls 3-4-6 as they won the first leg 14-13 lost the next 14-20 but won the final leg 21-11.

In Section 11 Chris Cox hit 13 dolls 5-4-4 for The John Radcliffe Club, but it was to no avail as they lost to Donnington Club 3-0. The first leg was tied 11-11, second leg 10-11 and the final leg 7-13.
